A boat ride on Qiandao Lake
Qiandao (Lake of a Thousand Islands) is a man-made lake located in Chun'an County, Zhejiang, China, formed in 1959 as part of the Xinanjiang hydroelectric station. It is one of China's most famous tourist attractions. There are 1,078 large islands in the lake and a few thousand smaller ones, characterized by their lush vegetation and historical sites (unfortunately, the day I went was foggy and rainy, and the pictures didn't come out very clear).
